HOW TO USE IT
Best enjoyed uncooked, white truffles are ideal for finishing dishes such as risotto, eggs, or pasta. Use a truffle slicer to cut the truffle into thin slices and lay them over your prepared dish.
It’s important not to cook the truffles, as heat can diminish their delicate flavor and aroma. Instead, let the warmth of your dish gently release the truffle’s full aroma and depth for a moment of pure culinary indulgence.
HOW TO STORE IT
Wrap the truffles in a paper towel and place them in a sealed container (such as a glass jar or airtight container). Change the paper towel daily to absorb moisture and prevent mold.
Store the container in a part of the refrigerator that stays cool but not too cold. The vegetable drawer is usually ideal. Maintain the temperature between 38°F and 42°F (3°C–6°C) for best preservation.
HOW TO CLEAN IT
It’s natural for truffles to develop a bit of surface mold. Use a soft brush to gently remove it. Avoid soaking or washing the truffle, as excess moisture can shorten shelf life
